Here at TDP, we are proud of their sustainable furniture but don’t just take our word for it – visit our factory showroom where you’ll be able to see the products for yourself. With an extensive range of furniture on display from dining sets to picnic benches, as well as our most recent addition – the Derbyshire modular sofa, there is sure to be something to suit any outdoor living space. All of our products are manufactured on site in the factory. In the showroom next door you can browse the wide array of products on display, see just how much the recycled plastic furniture resembles real timber, as well as trying the products for size before you buy. Each piece of furniture is designed with different seat heights and back rakes, but if you still can’t find something that is the right size, choose a bespoke piece where the furniture will be manufactured to the customers’ exact measurements to ensure optimum comfort, particularly important when the furniture is built to last for many years.
The products also come in many different colour combinations. Every colour available can be seen in the showroom, although for combination options there are simply far too many to be able to showcase them all. Opt for the traditional brown, grey and black, or unleash your creativity and choose bright colours that will add a splash of boldness to any outdoor space. Whatever combination, we can build the furniture to your required colour specifications. Accessorize with our range of water resistant cushions to add a touch of elegance and luxury. A visit to the showroom provides the perfect opportunity to try before you buy and to learn more about the manufacturing story as well as the sustainability and environmental credentials behind each of the products – which is just as important to us as the design of its products.
We are a award winning business, and a leader in sustainability – in 2023 it was given the royal seal of approval when it was awarded the prestigious King’s Award. It handcrafts all its furniture from recycled plastic profiles which are made from UK plastic waste that would otherwise have been sent to landfill. The plastic profiles are incredibly strong and weather resistant, so much so that the furniture can be left outside all year round. They will not crack or rot and can withstand rain, heat and frost. With no maintenance required, except for a quick hose down to keep it looking like new, our recycled product range is perfect for people who want to enjoy the outdoors without all of the time-consuming work that is normally involved – giving more time to relax and unwind. Just as important, the furniture will last for years whilst still looking as good as the day it left the factory. As a family run business, we are a friendly and knowledgeable team are on hand to answer any questions customers may have, provide advice on their product ranges, and – where required – design bespoke products. Alternatively, they equally understand that some people might simply just want to browse.
In addition to its range of furniture, we also offers a range of planters for gardeners as well as wildlife friendly products that can help encourage greater biodiversity. Add a bird feeding station to encourage feathered friends to the garden and enjoy watching them visit, or install a hedgehog house to provide a safe and warm place in which they can hibernate, helping to try and reverse the decline of this native species. Just as with the furniture, these products are made with the same plastic profiles, ensuring longevity and easy cleaning. We are nestled in the Derbyshire Dales. If you’re travelling some distance, why not combine a visit to the showroom with exploring the area. Wirksworth is the perfect destination for a day out. Visit the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway, learn about the area and its former inhabitants at the Wirksworth Heritage Centre, discover the history of stone and quarrying at the National Stone Centre, or wander around the narrow alleyways and browse the town’s independent shops and cafes. Further afield, discover the delights of the Heights of Abraham with its show caverns, Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. Conveniently located on the outskirts of Wirksworth, there is ample free parking available in our car park and visitors to the showroom have free use of its on site EV charger. Alternatively, if travelling by bus, there is a service from Derby and Matlock that stops almost directly outside the showroom.
